Harry didn't want the band to take a long hiatus and his way of dealing with that was to ignore everyone because seeing them would be too hard for him. Especially Niall. Somehow he ended up in love with him and he decided he needed to take the break to get over him once and for all.
It doesn't work and when he realizes what a huge mistake he's made, Niall doesn't even want to look at him, let alone talk to him.
Three years before the hiatus, Harry and Louis' friendship spectacularly fell apart. There's a lot of old wounds and scars there but they manage to patch things up and Louis, knowing a secret of Harry's and Niall's, takes it upon himself to fix them too.

With public opinion on the Avengers split after the ‘Sokovia incident’, there is also growing discord among the members. Global authorities demand accountability and greater control over the group leading to the drafting of accords that sets divisions between the team.
On one side those who support the freedom to act without oversight or constriction. Deeming speed as efficient for saving lives. The other, express a burden of responsibility to not repeat past mistakes, while also seeking to atone for a guilty conscience.
But another inciting incident will further divide the team, splitting the alliance even further apart until they are diametrically opposed and the only resolution is through confrontation.

Xander as a weaponsmith - not a secret talent, but one that most of his friends have missed due to overlooking him - but also far from the only or most remarkable of his talents, as he's got a special magical gift as well. Xander is an empath, with a bit of a talent for magic and far more for reading people . . . and inviting things into himself, conscious or no. He has imprints of the possessions he's been through if not the possessions themselves, even now. He has a magical mentor (Ethan Rayne), solid friendships even as his older ones falter (Tara, Dawn, Anya, Spike. . .), and he has a goal and a smitten heart.
Unfortunately the faltering friendships are not the least of his problems right now, as the Initiative reborn (as the Demon Action Response Team) are making inroads into Sunnydale under a familiar face (if only they can uncover it). . .
This inhuman place makes human monsters.

I love the way he's melded Lyanna and Ned and Jon he can hardly tell which is which.
