"You don't seem... very ghostly?" Ghostbur said.
"I don't know what that's supposed to mean" Tommy replied as he wiped his watering eyes. He became slightly worried that he wasn't able to bluff everyone on the server. Unless...
"What makes something ghostly then?" He challenged.
"Well, for starters: You were walking in the rain without something to protect you, the other day. Ghosts hurt in rain, you seemed fine."
"I... I'm used to pain." Tommy wondered why he even said that, it came out of nowhere. Did he regret it? Not really but he felt bad as he put Ghostbur in a position where he didn't know how to react.
"Oh" Ghostbur mouthed in the awkward silence.
The silence continued. Tommy wasn't sure how long it lasted: 1 minute, 5 minutes, an hour?! It didn't matter. He enjoyed sharing the silence with - possibly - his only friend.

He let out a shaky breath, shivering in the cool air and shifted the disks into his waiting left hand so he could read the note.
The handwriting was achingly unfamiliar and the words only served to eject a new barb of terror into his overloading system.

Tommy knows only the cold steel walls of the cage and his own name. In his hands, he holds two disks and a note telling him to live with his choice. Then the cage starts to move.
When the doors at the top open, Tommy finds himself at the centre of a monster-riddled labyrinth with a group of boys determined to be at war with each other. At least he has Tubbo. Until he doesn't.
