Damian's sick of it.
Sick. Of. It.
He'd been Robin for 5 years, an assassin for 7, and he knew his own capabilities. One would think he'd already be well on his way to establishing his own identity outside of Batman's long shadow. Perhaps he'd join a team of rambunctious teen heroes. Maybe he would create a new hero persona, only to occasionally moonlight as Robin on the side. But surely, surely Damian would have completed at least *one* solo mission, right?
Of course not. Because his father deemed him too immature. Not ready for the responsibility of a singular solo mission.
Well, Damian decides if his father will not give him a solo mission, he'll just have to take it. This one decision finds him trapped in a laboratory, forced to rely on a monster for any chance to escape. Damian learns about the dark secrets the Ghost Investigation Ward has been hiding, as he comes to learn that this monster may not be what he originally believed.

Danny has just escaped the men in white and has found himself in Gotham. Peter got bliped and woke up on the floor of a alleyway. They both meet and bond over trying to survive, aka Danny not needing to eat much as phantom and Peter needing more for his metabolism, and Peter stealing Danny's blanket while he makes a web for Danny to sleep/bandages. While trying to survive the bats will be help them(stalk them) but the 2 teenagers are more connected to the batfamily then you would expect.

Between his duties as the King of the Infinite Realms, midterms, and his parents' latest lethal invention, he doesn't have the time or energy to spare when three socialites impose themselves on Sam and her family for a month. But it's not like he can let her deal with it alone, even if the appearance of these rich kids is dredging up memories he never thought he'd need to relive.
