He wakes up in a world where he is dead, but Alfred is his living ally. With just seven days until the plot kicks off, Damian dedicates himself to healing the fractured Batfamily, slowly putting the pieces back together. But he can multitask.
To prevent the Love Square, he decides to aggressively befriend Marinette Dupain-Cheng the only way a Wayne knows how: by replacing her friends with competent ones and burying her under a mountain of gifts.

"You know," Superboy starts, him and Robin watching as the speedster became nothing but a shock of light in the distance, making the other turn back to him, "if we do ever make it to the Justice League, I don't know if we'll be his teammates or his parents."
The smile that found itself on the bird's face at those words was blinding and true in a way that the super didn't think that he had seen from the other before.
It was enough to make his breath catch.
The other spoke before he could think about why that might have been.
"Yeah?" Tim asked, the smile on his lips shifting into a smirk. "Well, then I know which one you're going to be…" he said, letting his voice trail off as he walked back to his car and put the useless machine inside of it.
Tim didn't admit to himself, not right then at the least, that it sounded like flirting, what he had just said. That he might have meant it to be. He already had enough relationship problems to worry about without throwing another variable into the mix.

Since the moment his father had given him Titus the dog, Damian had never loved anything more. The dog was a part of him. He loved Titus.Then came the cat, a sharp shift from a dog’s energetic friendliness to a cat’s introspective, individualistic nature. After that came birds, a cow with a bat symbol on her face, and other creatures that wouldn’t even be considered typical farm animals.
So when Superman called Batman over the comms for an “emergency,” all Robin could think about was Jon. Was he safe? Or was this some mission Superman hadn’t been able to control? Usually, when Superman called, it meant something serious.
He didn’t expect to see Jon waving at him, grinning, welcoming him to the Kent farm as if nothing were wrong. No panic. No chaos. No one was hurt.
So why were they here?

Dick Grayson didn’t mean to avoid Tim Drake.
Dick was fairly confident the boy would make a decent Robin. But beyond that Dick didn’t have any strong opinions, and he was happy to leave it that way. He refused to form an opinion, to become attached. It was easier that way. Dick didn’t want to take the time to examine the dread he felt seeing Tim in his colors, standing in the same spot another black haired, blue eyed boy used to be. He wasn’t looking for a new brother. That’s what he told himself when eight months had passed and he had only met the boy a handful of times.
Dick stopped telling himself that when he learned that Tim had died due to the Joker.
Or: In Tim's early Robin days, Dick realizes he needs to step up and mentor the boy who now holds his mantle. Tim is going to be part of the family, no matter what Bruce has to say.
