Summary
Gordon Freeman and Benrey, otherwise known as Loverboy and Letterboy, are used to fusing and unfusing like clockwork. They have become each other's halves, growing closer by the day, and when they are apart there is always either a 5'7" or 2' robot following the human from 2002. But they take comfort in knowing they are always close either physically or mentally, unlinked at will. The Perfect Loverboy.
Benrey isn't the only one in Gordon's head.
_tl;dr: Gordon discovers he hasn't been the only one in his head since childhood. And maybe Loverboy isn't gone after all.
