Summary
Jack knew Robby was seeing Dennis. He could tell. He knew Robby better than anyone else, he knew what Robby was like in bed, he knew what he liked. But Dennis... the student was a total wildcard. Jack imagined it when he was laying in bed, picturing them together. He just *had* to know.
Asking Robby who said to ask Dennis... who then said to just come and see...AKA: Dennis is Robby's puppy and wants Jack to come play with him. Jack always liked puppies. Dennis is a wet mess of a praise obsessed dog. And both men love it.

A summer at the lake gives Dennis space to become someone new.

Summary
Having an entire room to himself, even if it's not in use, makes him feel guilty. The idea of a private room, a space entirely for him, is an incredibly foreign concept to him. Living on a farm, being the youngest of four, and a copious amount of nieces and nephews always romping around the place during family gatherings did not allow for a semblance of privacy. Dennis is used to sharing rooms, bathrooms, and even beds when space was tight. A farmhouse did not correlate with personal space. During his undergrad, he even shared a room with other students.
He has no idea what he’s supposed to do with space beyond a bed. In the abandoned wing, he didn’t get much time to dwell on having his own space, because it wasn’t really his in the first place. Always on the lookout, over his shoulder, switching rooms to avoid guards and being caught.
But now Dr. Robby is offering an entire room. And rent free at that.
And maybe that is where the guilt stifles him a bit.

Summary
Chaka Khan’s music is nothing like the chaos was he just subjected to, nothing like the thick scent of fear in the air and shoutings from his attendings that all blurred into one big sound that ricocheted around his brain until all he could focus on was the medicine, and the upbeat tune of Like Sugar is no expectation.
Dennis scrunches the side of his face to keep his outdated AirPod from falling out of his ear as he slides backwards out of the attached bathroom, letting his heel spin against the smooth tile, twisting his torso into a twirl that matches with the rhythm of the song. He brings his hands up to stick two fingers right behind his ears, lost for just a moment in the beat, and he faces the half open door of the room he’s sequestered himself in.
And instead of the flickering lights of the hallway, he finds himself face to face with none other than Dr. Michael Robinavitch.

Summary
A new white board on a rolling stand stood at the back corner of the betting room. The board only had a few things on it
The letters |M|T|W|T|F|S|S| written fully across the top of the board, and a few twenty tallies running down the board threw the middle, mindful of the letters above.
The werid thing was, it would go up daily, new tallies going in different colour markers, it wasn't until Dennis saw Mel rush to the room and add a tallie did he understand what the board meant.
Or more like who the board was about.

Summary
Dennis swallowed. “That sounds dangerously close to a compliment.”
“It is.”
Silence lingered. The only sound was the quiet hum of the vending machine down the hall.
“You want more?” Robby asked.
Dennis’s breath caught. “What?”
“Praise. You want more of it.”
