Derek looks up to place an order only to find himself tongue tied at the cashier. Oh god. He’s hungover, and normally being served coffee by someone at Dunkin who looks like he would rather be in hell. Not this guy. Derek looks at him, the hint of a smile on his face, his curls falling on his forehead, burnt honey eyes patiently looking at Derek, tattoos littered across his forearms.
So obviously what comes out of his mouth is, “Coffee.” Jesus fucking Christ.
The guy smiles impishly, amused. “We do have coffee,” he quips.
Derek wishes the earth would swallow him up.
