Summary
When Hondo is framed and dumped into prison general population with no bail, Leroy cashes in an old life-debt to keep him breathing, even though the “protection” looks a lot like ownership from the outside. Leroy's friend Reggie stakes a claim that keeps Hondo alive but leaves him carrying the weight of what everyone in that block thinks they saw. On the outside, Deacon, Wendy, and finally Leroy himself force Hondo to stop treating survival as proof he deserved punishment and to say out loud what they still are to each other: brothers.
