"How? I mean, why didn't she tell me? Mal should have told me. Instead, she lied to me about everything!" Anger surged in her once again, and Evie wanted to cry or scream. "Why am I here?"
Zeus cleared his throat as he sat on his throne. He waved a hand over the hearth, and the rippling image of Auradon came through. "You and Princess Audrey will stay here for the time being. You must begin your birthright as it should have been, but the past cannot be changed for better or worse."
"What if it could?" Evie asked him.
Zeus shook his head. "Do not go down this line of thinking, child. It will only harm you and everyone else."

She starts seeing Snow as her big sister, she and Doug are business partners, and even when Mal heads back to the Isle, Evie does what she can to aid the situation to the best of her ability. Ben, Mal, Uma, and Harry all do their best to show her just how much they value their princess.
Things are going great. Auradon thinks Evie is the epitome of a perfect princess. What Auradon doesn't know is that Evie's missing something... quite crucial.

Evie can’t wait to celebrate her sister’s upcoming nuptials. There’s only one little problem: she’s supposed to bring a date, and her mom's expecting a MALE date. Evie hasn't told her yet that she prefers girls (ok, she's afraid to tell her)! She’ll be damned if she lets Snow’s wedding be the moment that her mom finds out her secret and ruins Snow’s special day. So to avoid the issue, Evie convinces her friend Jay to join her and pose as her date/boyfriend to keep her mom off her back. That should be easy enough to fake for a week, right?
And it is, until two distractions show up. Namely, Mal and Carlos.

If you asked Snow White what the most difficult thing she ever faced was, you would probably expect her to say: 'Losing my parents' or 'Living in the forest after spending my entire life in a castle' or 'My step-mother trying to kill me and my sisters and everyone we know and love' or even 'That one time I was cursed to sleep for eternity and my friends almost buried me'.
But Snow would never say that. And if you assume it's because Snow White is a kind, humble queen who didn't dwell on past hurts, you'd only be slightly right. If you assume it's due to her mature nature, you'd be partially correct.
No the real reason is, is that the most difficult thing she ever faced is her baby sister who won't keep yelling about how 'your hair is ruined, Snow White and the wedding's in one hour', while the other baby sister was laughing.
