Yusei feels like a shock passes through him. Those eyes have him in a chokehold. It’s like they are shining under the lights of the club. The bartender returns, serving everyone their drinks. Yusei barely notices her or gives her a look before quickly chugging down his milk and wiping his mouth. He hurriedly slides off his seat and walks away from the bar.
“Hey Yusei, where are you-” Crow swiftly gets cut off.
“That’s our prime suspect, I need to get closer!” Yusei firmly replies, rushing his way towards the stage. Jack and Crow quietly give each other a look. “Wait Yusei-!” Yusei can’t hear the rest of Jack’s words over the music. Yusei trusts that his friends will follow him. They always do. He makes his way through the crowd, politely scooting between the sea of people (it’s really cramped here) and fights his way a little closer to the stage.
The music is even louder here, but Yusei still won’t lose focus.The stage is well lit, with spotlights and everything. It’s the main attraction for most people attending after all. The scene would remind someone of a runway, shining spotlights to the models who are the
main attraction, and Yusei clearly finds his main attraction. -
