Summary
I don’t know his name, where he came from, what he does when he’s not pretending we’re just a normal human couple, really anything, but three things- he loves me, he thinks I love him, and he sure as hell isn’t human. Why he likes me, I do not know, but he clearly does, enough to try to recreate an apartment, and tries his hardest to look human, and mimics how us humans express our love for our partners. But it’s always just mimicry, it’s never real, authentic, genuine. Just an act to try make me happy, oblivious to my misery.

Summary
The G-Man was quite proud of his recruit, and they had come so far. He was an extraordinary human being, and he was not willing to let him go. He wanted Gordon Freeman back. He wanted Gordon Freeman under his control again. He wanted Gordon Freeman!
Basically: The G-Man gets Gordon back under control and makes his move and Gordon is not as opposed to the idea than he expected...

Summary
Gordon was sitting on the examination couch, stripped from the waist up, his legs dangling just above the floor in what seemed to be an endless white room. This eerie space mirrored his mental state—a blank canvas of numbness… distant worlds hidden behind thick fog… echoing silence.

Summary
G-man doesn’t reach for the spoon right away. He reaches for Gordon — tugs him gently by the wrist until he’s seated beside him, not opposite. Their knees touch beneath the table. The closeness quiets something in him that words never could.
“You’re clingy today,”
Gordon says, lips twitching into a half-smile.
“I am...”

Summary
The color of blood hung in the air like a full moon. The pitch-black flat ground was like a pile of heaped-up bones. Their feet stepped on the pool of water accumulated with human blood. All over the place were H.E.V. protective suits, and the bodies of the deceased Dr. Freeman piled up in mountains, arranged in some places and scattered in others. The orange corpses kept overlapping, forming a towering, tiered peak like the Tower of Babel.
Would Gordon feel afraid because of this?
A blood-stained crowbar happened to fall at his feet, and the severed hand wearing a tattered protective suit was still tightly gripping the crowbar.
The man, the prime culprit who had caused all of this, took a step back. Maintaining a polite smile, he opened his palms and silently mouthed the word: Please.
Corpses littered the land as far as the eye could see.
There was absolutely no sign of life.

Summary
"I once said, Mr. Freeman, what you've done has no...meaning. If you think that by torturing...me, you can make me feel...agh...regret or similar negative emotions, it's...highly unlikely. My employers have witnessed all of this, and perhaps they will impose some form of...punishment on you for the offense. If you stop at this moment, I might try my best to apply for some degree of...forgiveness for you."
"Please...don't regret it."
He spoke softly, and perhaps Gordon could sense a certain sense of..."relief" within him. It was like the sentiment when a game is about to end.
----------
Gordon generously presented his "treasure" to him. The liquid medicine in the syringe flowed together with the man's blood.

Summary
"Would you—ah—care for some assistance, my dear—?”
His voice stalled mid-sentence. His gaze dropped.
There was Gordon — crouched low, forearms flexed, tank top shifting high enough to tease skin and shape at once. The strong line of his shoulders bled down into his back, tapering smooth, the curve below impossible to ignore. Silence blanketed G-Man in an instant. His lips parted faintly, but no words followed. His fingers twitched at his sides, poised between offering help and… not bothering to speak at all. His eyes lingered, gaze sharp yet soft, locked unwaveringly on the sight before him.

Summary
They sat at the worn wooden table Gordon had built years ago, its surface weathered from seasons of rain and sun. A chipped teapot sat between them, steam curling in thin wisps as it mingled with the warm air.
Gordon leaned back in his chair, one arm draped loosely over the backrest, legs stretched out under the table. His faded band tee — a relic from some concert in the nineties — clung gently to his frame, the fabric soft and thinning from age and wear. His jogging pants sagged comfortably at his hips, fabric bunched around his calves. Bare feet nudged absently at the cool grass beneath the table.
Across from him, G-Man sat upright but relaxed, sleeves of his grey long-sleeve shirt rolled neatly to his forearms. His denim pants looked slightly too crisp compared to the rest of him, but his bare feet mirrored Gordon’s — toes curling occasionally in the grass. His stubble was thicker than usual today, dusting his jaw with silvery softness. He held his tea delicately in one hand, pinky angled just so, though the habit was unconscious now rather than calculated.

Summary
Gordon wiped his hands on a dish towel, leaning over the counter as he slid the freshly baked margherita pizza onto a wooden board. The crust was crisp and golden, edges puffed just right, the simple spread of tomatoes, basil, and melted cheese glistening under the overhead light.
"Alright, that’s done,"
He muttered, more to himself than anyone else. He grabbed a knife, slicing clean triangles with practiced precision. Perched on the edge of the kitchen countertop, G-Man sat with his legs crossed at the ankle, his tie slightly loosened and the first few buttons of his shirt undone. His sleeves were rolled to his elbows — a rare sight Gordon had come to enjoy — and one elbow rested lazily on the counter while he watched Gordon work with a tilt of his head.
"I… remain unconvinced,"
He said slowly, voice dipping into that familiar strange cadence that never quite left him. His gaze flicked toward the pizza, lips pressed into a thin line.
"Your— concoction appears… excessively oily. Unrefined."

Summary
Turning on his heel, G-Man stepped back outside, his stride purposeful now. The worn path through the grass bent easily under his steps as he passed the vegetable garden, its rows neat and green. Bees drifted lazily between the flowering lavender and thyme.
He followed the sound of distant, steady humming — not from the bees, but from Gordon himself.

Summary
Gordon Freeman had patience. He’d waited through experiments, disasters, war, and the occasional lecture he was forced to sit through in Black Mesa.
But G-Man’s refusal to shave?
That was testing his limits.

Summary
“I used to control the fabric of reality,”
G-Man murmured, almost to himself.
“Mm-hm.”
“And now I spend my evenings watching you burn soup.”
“That’s love, baby,”
Gordon replied, sliding his glasses on again.
“Do you regret it?”

Summary
And there—at the far end of the quiet house—he found him.
Gordon.
Asleep at the dining table.
One arm curled beneath his head, the other outstretched over the wood, fingers still limply curled around a cold mug of tea.
He turned onto his side and simply watched his husband sleep.
G-man, gently, reached out—tucked a strand of hair behind Gordon’s ear.
“You waited,”
He murmured, the words like smoke.
“You always wait.”

Summary
Gordon grumbled and leaned down to inspect the plant closer.
“I think the sage is bouncing back.”
“Are you talking to them again?”
“They’re good listeners.”
“That’s debatable. I heard the rosemary insulted your beard last week.”
Gordon snorted.
