Summary
Anybody who knows Hannibal Lecter knows that he is very meticulous about the state of his kitchen. After all, he spends most of his free time experimenting with culinary masterpieces from history or of his own design for both himself and the various dinner guests he has. Everything is always pristine, not a crumb or speck of grease (or blood) to be seen on his countertops. Everything is always kept in running order for convenience and efficiency.
So, when an entire row of lights above his workspace suddenly goes out, the fridge stops humming, and the clock on the oven goes black, for several, very unsettling seconds while his eyes adjust to the abrupt disappearance of light, Hannibal does not know what to do.
_________________When things start breaking in Hannibal's home, Will Graham always comes to his rescue.

Norman Babcock only wants to get all the ghosts and poltergeists to leave him alone. Now, he has to deal with his second cousin's ("Just call him Uncle Will." "Will is fine.") weird doctor boyfriend trying to bond with him. Did he mention he's living with Will over the summer, maybe longer, to help with his psychic gifts? At least the dogs are good company. -

"Don't you get what a surprise is?! I said I want it to be a surprise!" He exclaims and Alana considers the place where she is standing, "o-okay, okay surprises are good" she says scared of getting a pillow thrown at her with the force Will used as she helps Beverly up and Hannibal gulps nervously at Will's side.

For one fleeting moment, Bedelia du Maurier actually believed she was safe. It was naive in hindsight, she should never have underestimated Hannibal Lecter’s ability to survive, or Will Graham’s determination to keep him that way. The two could easily waltz around the FBI in circles. Always have, even when that righteous little imp thought he was still doing good. She should have known. She should have left, should have stayed hidden.
They’re in the kitchen. Bedelia can hear Hannibal’s rumbling voice followed by a throaty laugh that belongs to his other half, and that particular sound sends shivers down her spine. Hannibal Lecter frightens her, but while his actions are evolutionary and complex in nature, Will Graham is here for one reason and one reason only; to stake a claim and kill her slowly. If he had any say in the methods, there would not be anesthetics involved.
Slowly and silently, Bedelia extracts the fork from the table and hides it beneath the folds of her dress. She’s going to die, that much is certain, but she will not go without a fight.

Muscles shift under the lightly tanned skin of his exposed forearms. A large lounging cat ready to spring at the first sign of weakness.
The iron prison bars feel like a poor barrier against him.
“You’re hardly domesticated. Too fickle and subject to no one’s whims but your own. No, you’re something of feline variety.”
Amusement dances in Hannibal’s wine colored eyes. “A pet tiger.”
Will swallows nervously. “I find you more leonine in nature.”
