Hazard hums. A chuckle curls into the air behind him, and then Koyu steps into view, hopping down onto the sand in front of the log and sitting next to him with a faint grunt of exhaled air. His face plate is clipped to his belt, holsters hanging empty just as they have since he arrived at the homestead and set his blasters next to Werlaara and Dhav’s. There’s something in his hands, and when Hazard looks closer he can make out two of their glazed ceramic cups in the dim post-sunset light, the liquid inside sloshing dangerously close to the rims from his sudden drop in altitude.
“Is that for me?”
“Of course,” Koyu says, as if any other answer is unthinkable, and hands him one, a small, secret smile on his lips.

Summary
The 442nd Battalion is many things: a battalion filled with clones no longer fit for standard duty, a medical powerhouse, one cog in the expansive machine that is the Grand Army of the Republic, and half a dozen other things besides.
What the 442nd isn't is where Blank really belongs.
With the 212th Battalion and the ghost of their twin behind them, Blank is nothing like the bright-eyed shiny they once were. Weak, scarred, down two eyes, and forced to shelf the field half of their field medic training whether they like it or not, one could say Blank isn't exactly doing great. Then, when a friendly clone distracts them from their mounting grief only to accidentally set them off again and send them running, one nondescript late night turns into a pivotal turning point in the desperate arms of yet another vod they try to wish they had never had a reason to meet.
Setting the blaster down is one of the hardest things they've ever done. How bad could the chaos of a new medbay, the hopes and dreams of the squad responsible for keeping them alive, a handful of faked deaths, and a conspiracy that spans the entire galaxy really be after that?

Meanwhile, Clone Medic Blank returns to their station barely twelve hours after last night's suicide attempt and meets a hulking figure with an eye just as pale as the two of their own.

Being rogue on a planet destroyed by war and opinion might seem ideal for a moment. Not having to choose a side, not constantly looking behind your back all the time. At least, that's what modern fantasy tells you anyway. Not on Cybertron. A planet that for megacycles has been riddled by war, destruction, and power, being rogue doesn't promise a better life. In fact, it drives the pressure higher and higher to a fever pitch, and with two factions looking to grow their army all the more, it's only a matter of time before the "rogues" are sought out and forced to pick a side.
And while most stay in their selected faction, some will have a change of heart when the going gets tough. That's, at least what happened to Dropwire (OC), a young mercenary with a potential for being a force in the pivot. From stubborn on choosing, to choosing, then changing, his brand changed, and so did his entire opinion on the war.
