Happy Birthday, Hinata.
I gotta be honest, even for a conservative NaruHina church member myself, The Last, as a movie, just left me unsatisfied. Not even the kiss at the end made it worth rewatching for me. Over time, I just understood that, the reason why this movie, in hindsight, didn't sit right with me, was because for a few reasons:
1. Hinata being reduced to a damsel in distress. For a THIRD TIME. One time was excuseable, the other two, big nope from me.
2. The movie essentially introduced the Otsutsuki clan, aka, the worst narrative mistake to ever grace this IP. Hence why, in this rewrite, the Tenseigan is not locked behind the Otsutsuki DNA. You can achieve it, with the chakra of the Sage of the Six Paths.
3. The Hyuga clan, as a whole, as part of the narrative, was completely shat on in Shippuden. All resolved off-screen, with Neji dying, for freaking nothing, other than cheap shock value. Not going to happen in this household.
Hence, I wrote it, so that not everything has to hinge solely on Naruto. Hinata can save the world too, every once in a while. She sure did for many of us, growing up.

And while sitting on him, the summoning magic activated, stealing them right under the eyes of the Shadow Hokage, Uchiha Sasuke. Needless to say, the Uchiha is not just going to let that slide. That was his brother and his wife kidnapped, damn it!With the Winter King of Konoha in Melromarc, messing with the ultra paranoid Hokage is not going to be a walk in the park of the foolish King or his insidious psychopathic Princess. Also, Naruto is just parading around as the Shield Hero. Like he'll let his wife be bullied.
