Dave watched for hours as that red ship meandered across the sky, occasionally dropping more of those strange things. From here they kind of looked like grasshoppers, or praying mantises, cutting through the air as they fell towards an unseen destination. Dave imagined them boring into the earth from the velocity of their fall, releasing strange substances or just exploding, killing indiscriminately. As soon as that ship disappeared from his view, it was like that strange afternoon didn’t happen.
The invasion that followed struck quickly and crippled Earth's defences, and now Dave must navigate an innavigable world. Watching the world pass him by, it doesn't quite feel right, but he isn't quite brave enough to fight it. Not until one of his closest friends braves crossing a war-torn country to find him.

They were surprisingly difficult to synthesize, given their size and intricacy. You know there’s a team of mechanics working on them out there somewhere, but for now you must wash every dish individually. It is methodical work, precise and careful in a way that you have grown far better at in the past few years.
Next, your Wondrous Virtue’s plants. The garden out back does not need tending to at the moment, but you follow a strict routine for your partner’s plants. She claims that the green helps liven up the can, helps make it feel like home. You pretend not to notice the way both he and your Precious Merit watch them when they are reminded of the time between your death and your revival.
