She-Ra and the princesses of power's season four wasn't satisfying and Catradora was rushed in a way.
Catra hated Adora. Adora hates Catra. That's how it's supposed to be. Right? Adora left Catra, so Catra shoved her away. She shouldn't forgive Adora for abandoning her for a sparkly princess, a archer and an alter ego. Right? She-Ra is Catra's enemy, the person she's supposed to take down. She can't just like Adora, she has to stay strong. She must take over the Horde and rule Etheria. Right?
Every single one of these thoughts make Catra wonder, is she really the villain? Is she supposed to be the bad guy? Every time she doubts herself it makes it harder for her to be the bad guy. To pretend. Why is she even thinking these things? Catra doesn't know. But,she does know her actions are wrong. And...
There's something about Adora. Something that makes her heart ache. Something that makes her feel guilty and something... more.

The Great Etherian War is not only about the main characters, She-Ra, Prime, and such. This war has no moments of glory, it's a terrible mess, especially for the Rebel soldiers.
This is the second part of the 'For what it's worth' series. The entire series is modeled on actual battles that took place in Bosnia or Croatia in 1991-1995.
The story is based on a fic created by the amazing @Kurt-Angles-Tailbone (They will know my name) :D
(Some characters were added to make AO3 requirements: Huntara and Angela don't occur, Glimmer and Tung Lashor are only mentioned)

Summary
A small alteration, a few words different. Adora finds the Sword slightly earlier, and everything changes. Bow and Glimmer are too late, Adora stays with the Horde, but must still grapple with the slow realisation that they are not what she thought that they were. Without She-Ra on their side, Glimmer has to take up the mantle of hero in the Rebellion's darkest hour, and be the one to bring hope even when she finds all hopeless. As events butterfly, the story of She-Ra becomes quite different.

Prime got arrested.
Something about robbery, racketeering, and a ton of crimes that started with the word ‘intent’. Catra couldn’t say she was shocked. She always knew Prime was trash. Only difference was now the state had enough proof to corroborate.
Weaver was in hysterics over it. Not at first, but definitely after she found out a bunch of Prime’s (and by proxy her) assets were getting seized. Catra, of course, ended up on the business end of Weaver’s rage about it most of the time, so despite how loud she was at this time of night, it was a relief to have the heat redirected at someone else for a change.
CLANG!
Catra’s eyes shot across the street and her breath caught.
Standing like a deer in headlights, gripping an aluminum trash can lid with a guilty expression on her face while the rest of the trash bin rolled back and forth in the street, was the other main tormentor of Catra’s life.

When searching for the Ink Kingdom to join Bright Moon's rebellion, the find out that it was not only in shambles, but also an old, abandoned animation building. When exploring the building, the find it to be bigger than what the outside shows. They went deeper, and deeper, and deeper into the abandoned building, fighting off inky monsters, and something about an Ink Demon lurking in the shadows, the find the prince. When they found him, they weren't expecting him to be a little kid, and look so adorable to be in a place like this.
So, in the good of their hearts, they take him with them, and laughed about the Ink Demon being fake news, not realizing that they have met him and is there with them. Until they realize the truth, it would've been too late to send him back. Will he protect them and be a part of their rebellion, or will he attack them, possibly killing them all?
