“It’s too long,” mumbled M-21, his hands automatically reaching up to fiddle with the silver strands again. “It’s getting in the way…”
Resting in one of the Union’s run-down hideaways, surrounded by various boxes of junk and leaky pipes, somehow it was oddly peaceful to have the moment to themselves. It was rare that they got time like this while on a mission, even if they were currently lying in wait for their next target. With a thoughtful hum, M-24 began searching through one of the nearby boxes.
“W-What are you doing?” stammered M-21.
With a proud look, M-24 held up a pair of rusty, slightly bent scissors. “Here. I’ll cut your hair for you.”

Much like werewoles, nobles have there own mating seasons where they procreate. Traditionally one's "Season" depends on one's age and clan cycle, however there are always exceptions to the rule. Rael - unfortunately - is one of them.
