Post-canon character drama that focuses on the relationship between Peppino, Gustavo, and Fake Peppino and the conflict that comes from the continued presence of a doppelganger monster, one guy that accepts it, one guy that doesn't, and the two guys are stubborn as all hell. Everyone is realistically flawed and there's lots of miscommunication and arguing, but it all feels real. Be prepared for a lot of internal wincing and yelling at characters in your head (positive). Some blood/gore in chapter 2. There are some hints of Gustavo/Peppino but this fic is not romance or ship focused, I personally find that this fic is closer to gen.
