It’s nearing his mom’s anniversary , and the annual grief of that date is surfacing, almost harder then usual. Jackson, having just been abandoned by his therapist, has no outlet for these intense emotions and ends up bottling them all up, trying to distract himself from the pain. He ends up at a party with the Detention Crew, drunk, and the gang wonders why he’s been acting so strange .

The months following and during drama, Jackson wasn't exactly thriving. This leaves him struggling to cope with his stress, and he uses rather unsavory ways to deal with his anxieties. Something changes when he actually meets the people in his detention class...will he be able to recover and gain new friends?

Takes place early s2 ( after the fight, he’s on low contact w Pamela, occurs in the gap when he isn’t going to therapy but his parents are trying to convince him to try one last time and he’s resisting)
It’s about 2 weeks after the fight, and up until then, he hasn’t spoken in detention. He also started and quit therapy recently after hating his therapists. His uncle and aunt are still trying to convince him to try again.
