He had never felt this way since he arrived at the circus, but little does he know his time is running low since there's another special someone trying to steal Pomni's heart which causes the whole circus to get tense. That other person is willing to do anything to have her all for himself, no matter what.
Will he finally get his feelings straight before the one person that has made him feel at "peace" gets stolen by someone else? Will their relationship flourish and grow into something special? Or will he let it all go down the drain?

Jax had seemed off when they all got back to the circus, Kinger noticed. He had an oblivious stare, almost like he was dead to the world. Kind of like a robot, or a marionette being controlled by a puppeteer. He had gone to hide in a dark corner in the character room hallway of the circus, somewhere where Kinger would have enough awareness to comfort him. Caine had seemingly turned off the lights. The reader is also a cartoon canine 'cuz I said so. Probably more plot than romance because I just got done reading The Shining and Doctor Sleep, so I WILL be annoying about the psychological horror in this.
