Fluixon, upon hearing word of Saparata's execution, immediately rushed to the execution site, seeking to attempt to earn a pardon for his friend, only to witness his friend die right before him. It was too late. He was too late.
At least, that's what he thought.
Suddenly, he finds himself back in his room, Saparata waiting outside his home for him. His entire being all clear of the corpse of his friend he had just held moment before. Is this another chance given to him or a soon-to-be mockery?

You’ll never see their face. Unspoken things happen to those who do.Saparata rolled his eyes as he read his story. Sidefall always had a knack for the dramatics in his writing.
Or Saps ends up on Island One. Written almost entirely from his perspective, beginning from the moment he sets foot on the island, ending up as the "witch" of Yggdrasil. This is my interpretation of how things could've been different using a prompt I found on Tumblr (link in notes).

Thomas does not know Micro. In a way, Thomas does not particularly care for Micro.
Except that Fluixon and Saparata decide to get into a fight that results in them drifting apart. Now, Thomas is tasked with gathering information about the white-haired boy by infiltrating the Canadian Cartel.
The Canadian Cartel, the group Micro hangs around. It doesn't help the fact that Thomas and Micro are seated next to each other that semester.
AKA, Thomas gets sidetracked, learns more than he thought he would, and just maybe, he learns how to love on the way. It's too bad that the world seems to have it out for Thomas—Micro is more protected than he thinks.
