[Name] tended to scream, her voice carried that irritating irk of command every time she wanted something. If anything was to hurt her, she would already be a few steps ahead - ready to yell out the most outrageous insults ever heard.
At least that's what she liked to think about herself, that's what made [Name] herself, and when she loses that voice at the hand of someone she trusted, she loses every little thing making up her expression. She didn't dream about fighting a war, conquering worlds or building entire civilisations; these were the things that meant nothing to a child.
So why did she agree in the end? Questions were the only thing swarming her mind ever since her throat burned without reserve, continuous fear of everything around her replaced rage - she became afraid.

When Daibazaal was destroyed by King Alfor of Altea over 10,000 years ago, the Galra Empire became obsessed with inflicting its wrath upon all corners of the universe.
(Y/N) is the disgraced daughter of the Empire—the child of Emperor Zarkon himself. Betrayed and imprisoned, she endured experimentations by Haggar and her Druids and was forced to fight in the arena. Upon her exile, she finally manages to escape the clutches of her father’s Empire.
She now resides on Planet Solitaire due to her spacecraft malfunctioning, causing it to crash land. She does not know how long she has been in cryostasis for. On Solitaire, she finds the universe's most powerful weapon: The Lost Lion of Voltron.

Y/N knew what it was like to have a life. It was a life filled with boring lectures and meetings, endless galas, stiff postures, and dress fittings. Though it was arduous at times, she can't deny it was a life of luxury—something she took for granted until the war began and everything fell to pieces. Her once dazzling empire reduced to nothing but ash and corpses.
A day never went by without her longing to relive her youth. When she didn’t have to work tirelessly against the Galra regime, hoping to undermine them in any way she could. Now, she led a tiring, lonely life carrying the fate of the universe on her shoulders.
As much as she wanted to give up, the heavy burden of responsibility she bore was much too great. She needed to stay alive for the sake of her people, her comrades who were long gone, and the entire known universe— at least that’s what she told herself. A reason to keep going.

y/n was pulled away from her isolated cabin in the woods by her nephew and his teammate, Keith, to join Krolia on a duo mission in the desert, and the two had chosen her to go, for her own good.
Krolia wasn't thrilled, and was against letting a human tag along, let alone someone she barely knew, but her son had somehow convinced her. She had always thought y/n noisy and flirtatious personality was annoying and whenever the two were near each other, she'd snap, until she slowly realized that she had started to like the way she smiled at her, or the way she threw those flirty comment her way, made her stomach flutter and heart pick up speed. The feeling felt so similar yet different than when she first met Keith's father. Except, this one feels a lot stronger.

Shiro’s body leaned heavily against the cold wall, his breath harsh. The echos of sentries walking bounced off of the halls, and rang around his skull, each footstep sending sharp pain throughout his head.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 – he can’t remember how he got out, how did he get out – 6, 7, 8 – go, go now. He ran around a corner and pressed himself against a wall fixture, just as another group of sentries passed his previous hiding spot. His vision was blurring, the lights starbursting across his eyes, and his thoughts were slipping, slipping… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. He moves again. Slowly making his way through the hallways, dancing around rotations of sentries. 1, 2, 3, 4 – a memory stabs through his mind, the picture, albeit painful, provides him with a better sense of direction. 5, 6, 7 – a quick flash, from a ground-level perspective, being dragged past them, but it’s all he needs. – 8 – He turns to the left, this time having a clear destination, the escape pods.

Wrote this on a huge whim. I honestly don't know much about either Star Wars or Voltron, so I have to idea how accurate this is tbh. Do let me know if I got anything wrong.
You, the reader, are a Mandalorian (and a Jedi, but that was really for plot convenience and I thought it was cool.) While saving a few prisoners on a Galra ship, you meet two paladins, who you came to know as Pidge and Shiro. After finishing that mission, you meet Shiro again, this time he introduced another paladin to you. Though you really met Keith due to circumstance rather than proper introduction.
