When Shiro spots Keith, he’s bent back on the ground with blood pouring from his nose. There’s a shitty guitar wailing in his hands, remnants of a screech still humming through the strings. Keith is screaming into nothing, the bar’s cheap can lights glistening off the blood drooling sluggishly down his chin. All around him churns a cacophony of instruments and flailing bandmates, heavy leather boots and piercings decorating their varied bodies.
All Shiro can see is him.

Summary
Keith continues to watch himself fade and flicker. He’s staring straight at Pidge’s terrified face watching her form words that he can’t hear when he blinks out of existence. There’s a long moment of darkness, endless and complete, before he fades back into physical existence. He blinks into the dim light and recognizes the dull metal walls and purple glow in an instant, stomach sinking to his feet. Just his luck that the failed wormhole transported him straight into a cell on a Galra cruiser.
A quintessence experiment gone wrong sends Keith skipping backwards through time, back to a Shiro he hasn't seen in years, and one he's never seen. Keith just wants to get back to his Shiro and his time.

Even though Lance felt very exposed suddenly being half naked in front of Keith, he couldn’t bring himself to care. Not when Keith was laughing like that.
Lance leaned forward to push Kosmo off the bed, but froze when Keith’s laughter abruptly stopped. After a tick of silence, Keith sat up and asked carefully, “What’s that?”
Lance looked over his shoulder and saw Keith’s eyes pinned to his back. “Oh, that. That would be from the Omega Shield.”

When Kosmo decides he wants to sleep with Lance, he teleports Keith along with him, forcing the boys to share a bed. Lance isn't sure where they stand, seeing as Keith's been distant ever since he returned from the Blades; but everything changes when nightmares ensue.
