Look, we can just treat this like my parents do, we make passing touches and never acknowledge the other one unless we need something, and we just do that for several years till all the kids move out, where we use all that free time to…uh.” Memory strikes him of some rather unsavory scenes, and he grimaces. “Never mind. Let’s be like your parents, all boring and cute.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever even seen my parents hold hands,” Min-Gi says unhelpfully. “All they do is sleep in the same bed and talk about the news.”
“Oh my god, you Parks are all like, like sexy cutout cardboard sometimes. (“Please don’t call my parents sexy in any capacity.”)"

When they’re still long enough, Min can decipher that their features are accentuated with some sort of orange makeup, corresponding with their clothing. It’s some sort of stripe from the forehead to the chin, and even without prior knowledge of skating culture, Min considers it a bold style to one’s aesthetic.
They skate like they invented the stuff. Like the world owes them this dance. They’re choreographed, every action hand-picked; when they jump, arms knitted at their torso, spinning, spinning…. It’s an artist comfortable in their craft.
