This horror scenario is something the young, hard-working schoolgirl wants to avoid at all costs, and she needs to take a deep breath first. The unplanned shopping spree has already had a negative impact on her bank account, but she simply couldn't resist these pretty dresses....

Shego stared dispassionately at her reflection in the mirror, taking in the litany of scars that marred her pale green skin. Her entire body from the neck down was covered in little white scratches and tears, like she had been mauled by a mob of small, starving animals. That was because she had been. The mental and physical scars from the Nekoken would never fade.
Her eyes then moved to the next scar, a nasty burn scar on her side, from the first and only time she had ever fought with the intention to kill.
She had won, given she was still alive, but it had felt like anything but. Saffron hadn’t been content to go down without making her pay the price. He left a permanent mark on her body that still ached and burned to this day, and another on her soul by making it impossible to save the love of his life.
Even now, nearly 18 years later and having lived a second childhood, she still felt that soulwrenching pain.
