Morty was eager to please Rick, but as soon as Morty walked to the door, he saw it, whatever it was.
"It's called a Jenkos-Blob," Rick told him as he put his arm around Morty's bare shoulders.
It was some kind of alien creature. Not like anything Morty had seen before, and he'd seen a lot. The creature was sitting right on the toilet, wiggling back and forth. It was round, A little bit bigger than a basketball. It had what looked like a neck and a mouth, but no face. It had three green appendages sticking straight up from the round blob part. It had two small appendages at the bottom that might have worked like feet or legs. It had two more appendages on the side with 'holes' at the end of them. These might have been its version of Arms, but with holes instead of hands. As Morty stood looking at it, he realized the head-mouth part had two mouth-holes, one on each side. Morty shivered. He trembled standing there.
" Eight limbs and five holes!" ..." These things are a miracle of bioengineering! suitable for tens of thousands of different species, including humans!"

Sonic and Shadow are a pair of unlikely friends that manage to perfectly contrast each other. Shadow is aloof, neurotic, and seems to distrust the world around him, due to being reviled and hated by the general populace. Sonic is a friendly, overemphatic hedgehog who wears his heart on his sleeve, crying at every misfortune that befalls anyone, giving him the mocking nickname "Pansy". Despite their major differences, they manage to protect each other and survive among a human-dominated world, one that is already unwelcoming enough to creatures like them. Worst of all, it begins to become impossible to tell who they could really trust, Shadow's theory of demonic possessions apparently becoming true. Any creature they meet in the streets could be a potential demon, the world turning their back on a dying God.
Attempting to stitch what remained of the world together, Shadow makes Sonic into a hybrid of demon and hedgehog, an eldritch being of incredible strength. In a final bid to save humanity, everyone involved in their tragic lives question what they're willing to really sacrifice to solidify society once again.
