“I don't think you're a bad guy at all, Mr. Justice.” Surprised, he looked back up at Klavier, still looking just as smug. His eyes fell to the hallway the Wright's disappeared into. “I do, however, question your taste in companionship.” Apollo knew the dig wasn't at Trucy. He still felt offended about it anyway. -

Summary
Klavier has to make a good first impression- or rather, second impression- if he wants to keep dating Apollo. He doesn’t know what Herr Wright would do to him if he found Klavier unworthy of dating his employee. Would Apollo be fired? Would Klavier be killed and disposed of in Gourd Lake? Klavier’s mind races as he thinks of every possible way that man could get his revenge, but his train of thought stops when Apollo finally returns.
“So, who’s the lucky guy?” He hears a sleazy voice make its way from out of the room. Klavier’s grip on the pillow he’s holding for comfort tightens. “Must be someone special, because Apollo has crazy high standards-"
Heterochromatic eyes meet blue. Herr Wright stops dead in his tracks and his eyes widen as he takes in the sight of Klavier Gavin in his house.

Summary
“Can you wrap a bandage over my eye?”
Klavier hesitated. He was usually keen to help Apollo in any way he could, especially now when he was struggling so much, but this was something that he had been wondering about all day. “Is your eye bothering you?”
“In a sense.”
Klavier didn’t know what to make of that.
Apollo had first put the bandage on that morning, claiming he had a sty, but when he got checked out at the hospital, the doctor had taken it off and surmised there was nothing wrong. Klavier had never known Apollo to be a liar, and so the fact he had lied about the bandage was all the evidence he needed to confirm his suspicions that something bad had happened at the space centre.
Sensing Klavier had questions, Apollo let out a sigh. He shut his eyes tight as if mentally debating what to say. “I just…” His shoulders fell. “I just don’t want to perceive anymore.”

Summary
The prosecutor took off after the trial, with no one following him. For the first time, the paparazzi did not leave a trail of reporters after him, and tracking him became significantly harder. However, Apollo knew this man for months- knew the way he worked, the way he thought, the way he acted, both in and out of the courts.
In his gut, he knew where he was, too.

“Ja, häschen, I am fine,” Klavier gives him a dazzling smile, one that would make his fans swoon. Apollo is not falling for it. “Klavier… Gavin is doing fine.”
That’s when Apollo feels it; he feels the telltale tightening of his bracelet on his wrist. His hands are out of Klavier’s sight, so he rubs at the thick piece of metal on his hand to confirm the feeling.
That’s a lie. He lied to him just now.

I love you, Apollo tries to say again, but he can only laugh a little more and hold Klavier a little tighter, bringing one hand up to comb through their hair.
"And then, well, it felt more like my name than anything else did, so I made it official. Er, I suppose that in that case, it really isn't a nickname after all. Alas, a point for the defense."
Apollo snorts, left hand stuttering where it had been trying awkwardly to braid Klavier's tangled hair. He's not practiced enough anymore to do it one-handed. It's been a long time since Nahyuta used to dare him to try. His sibling had had plenty of nicknames for him, too.
"And… what about you, if you don't mind my asking? You don't have to say, of course."
