Summary
In another world, Kara Zor-El got trapped in the Phantom Zone and was not there for her little cousin’s formative years. That is not the world I will be writing about. In this world, Kara and Kal crash landed in Smallville at the same time and were taken in by the Kents together.
(Liberties will be taken for the Kryptonian traditions that Kara talks about because I don’t know much about the actual traditions in the comics. I will also be referring to the language spoken by kryptonians as kryptonian instead of kryptoneese.)

Summary
Tomar-Re fails to save Krypton, but he does manage to save a couple of kids and their dog before it explodes.
The only problem is that Tomar-Tu isn’t thrilled about his father raising more kids. Oh, and the Kryptonians’ parents are now Black Lanterns trying to hunt them down.
Tomar-Re turns to his friend Alan Scott for help, hoping Kal and Kara can live normal lives on Earth.

The young man was announced to be the last of them, of an ancient civilization of men who lived in Krypton, the mythical state theorised to be located in the northernmost regions of the world. He was seen as an attraction, a new name and face destined to spill his blood in the Metropolis Arena. He was introduced with the simple name of Superman, which the other nobles in the room spoke with intrigue and slight reverence in their worlds, but Bruce could sense the mockery in Luthor’s voice.
This wasn’t meant to be a celebration; it was humiliation disguised as goodwill.
Bruce wondered what the young man had done to warrant such a thing. Knowing Lex, it probably wasn’t much.
A story of two men finding their place in a world that seemed far too large for them in each other.

Staring at bobbing heads stretch across the cavern of the long, dark room. Flashing red lights occasionally illuminate smiling aliens, all as intoxicated as she.

Summary
Clark was first able to contact and understand Jor-El’s hologram and all the other information sent with him as a teenager, and finally, he had answers to some of the questions he had asked himself for years. Who was he? What was he? Where did he come from? Why was he sent away?
From those answers came the fact that he was truly and utterly alone in the universe in some ways and would be forever; Krypton was gone, utterly destroyed, and he was the sole survivor.
As a teenager, he could never truly understand Jor-El’s despair over his inability to save Krypton – something that big, that catastrophic, what could one person do? You couldn’t beat yourself up over that.
As an adult, he understood it far too well.Or: on Clark & Jor-El, and the parallels between Krypton's destruction and climate change.

They were friends once. He hopes that once Robin understands the invasion of his home is for the best that he will grow to see him as a guardian, maybe even as a father.
But Robin doesn't need another father. He needs a way to escape.
