After being killed time and time again, they just refused to give their soul. It was getting both annoying and fascinating, the other humans would have been dead by now but not this one. Sans didn't really care all that much, he couldn't because if he ended up caring about them then it would put their entire freedom at risk. But he promised that he wouldn't hurt them anymore, because he wasn't going to see their blood spill anymore. But they want to go home, and Sans is the worst at making promises. Let alone keeping them, why did they have to have such beautiful eyes in the first place? -
