It’s been happening more often in the past few months, bouts of uncharacteristic silence coated in something unspoken. Teasing jokes of Lance’s that settle oddly. Casual touches lingering a second too long, burning skin left behind where Lance has touched him.
The gradual change has been odd, but it’s easy to walk away from. Easy to ignore. Keith has gotten good at recognizing it early and shutting it down. If he’s being honest with himself, they both have.
And it's worked for a long time, but Keith is rapidly regaining his mental footing to to the press of Lance's legs into his side and the obvious diversion of his eyes, nowhere to go and nothing to say.

“You really didn’t have to do this. I know you’re kind of a germaphobe,” Lance punctuates this with a cough that makes Keith grimace.

It had been about half a deca-phoeb since Keith had been transferred from the main Galra cruiser to the prince’s ship. It was called a ‘transfer’ but Keith saw it more as a demotion for being such a pain to deal with. Being stuck as the bratty prince’s servant was well below his skill level. He was a trained Galra soldier, one of the best if measured by pure skill alone instead of blind obedience. But now here he was with many other half-blood Galra soldiers: Lotor’s favourite kind apparently considering his entire team was filled with them.

Summary
The sequel to my story, ‘Worthy (Kit Keith)’.
Keith and his pack, along with the Galra people, have established a new home on a deserted planet. Kolivan has replaced Zarkon as the leader of the Galra. Keith and his pack are learning to adjust to their post-war life.
The blade is no longer a covert organization that is trying to take down Zarkon; they now work to help planets that were devastated by the war to rebuild. They also work to maintain peace throughout the universe, and they do so alongside Voltron.
One such endeavor includes dismantling an illegal slave-trafficking operation. While on said mission, two operatives are captured and go missing. The Blade and Voltron work together to get back someone they all love dearly.
