Mick Rory didn’t get his pyromaniac reputation for nothing. He had a long list of fires where he’d been caught and an even longer list where he hadn’t been caught. Fire always fascinated him -- the colors, how it burns and interacts with different materials, the capacity to harm or heal, the heat. But in his years of admiration (obsession) he’s gotten burned. His collection ranged from the small burns on his fingertips (from his youthful habit of letting matches burn too low) to the large ones covering the majority of his arms and torso from a heist gone wrong.

Mick doesn’t bother sticking out his hand. He doesn’t do touch, and he doubts the kid does either. “Mick.”
The kid gets a weird, dark look in his eye, and he’s silent for a stretch. Finally, he says, “Len,” in a way that feels like he’s imparting something big.
Just like that, Mick’s got himself a responsibility. Didn’t really plan on it, but his mother used to tell him, back when he was always bringing home wounded strays, that if he saved a life, that was his responsibility from then on. He figures there are worse responsibilities to have than a punk kid with something to prove.
He figures wrong.

He was content to live his life, sleeping with whomever he pleased, stealing and starting fires. He didn't need anyone but himself. Until he saves a young omega with bright green eyes and a beautiful smile. Barry Allen is good and bright, shining into Mick's life and turning Mick's entire world on its head.

Leonard Snart is on the edge, between rumors that the Rogues are really run by the Flash and his Earth 47 counterpart, the famous superhero Commander Cold, is getting a bit too close to his Scarlet. He decides to bring on Mirror Master to the Rogues, which Axel Walker thinks is a poor idea. Axel Walker is promptly booted from the Rogues and may or may not have just broken up with his long-time partner, Mick. Axel decides to temporarily join Team Flash to keep an eye of Mirror Master, and just as he suspected, the bastard betrayed the Rogues and almost killed the Flash. When the dust settles, Axel needs to comfort Mick by breaking down his emotional dams and helping to put him back together.
