Summary
This is my take on what would happen if you were the Neighbor’s 'good friend,' staying with his family while he is with Protag and remaining with them after, and if you played a more important role in the story than the game lets on.
The world outside is burning. Inside, safety feels temporary. You are taken in by the family who became your home away from home, but their generosity is not met with gratitude by all. Strangers arrive, tensions rise, and what distinguishes humans and visitors begins to blur. Your survival dependents on your loyalty and trust in others. Meanwhile, something unseen presses closer – watching, waiting, knocking.

Society has continued to pull itself back together piece by agonizing piece, Visitors die off one by one, the population begins to rise once more after the devastating blow. The reporters on television claim this to be a revolution, proof of human resilience. They promise that the sun will never heat up again, that they won't rest until the planet is completely Visitor free. It's a time for hope. It's a time for cheer.

He returned to modern life, to his ways at the bar. He returned to endless hours at a desk and a continuously empty home. Life couldn't get any worse, quite frankly.
On a night he felt particularly bitter, however, he managed to strike up conversation with a man that felt similarly about the state of the world. His interest remained piqued as they conversed. But he failed to realize just what he was getting into until it was far too late.
Life could, surprisingly, get worse.

His tenants keep dying for some reason. Phone roulette connects him to Crowley, who claims to know himself to be a visitor, and has trapped himself in his car to avoid killing anyone.

It was the same as every other night, Protag checked the door at every knock, shotgun in hand. Seeing if the next potential person might just end his life there and then, or if hed get lucky and life another day in hell. Except tonight, he was met with the sight of that damn visitor again, the one that keeps peering through his window, bringing him gifts, trying to come in.
"Are you alone?" He grinned with too many teeth, bending down with cracks of his bones.
"You know what-?....yeah, yeah I am." He was done with this endless cycle.

In other words, protag questions everything about this pale visitor, asking if his blood flows, the visitor thinking it was an amusing question answers no, protag laughs and comments about his inability to get erections, drunk and careless. This pisses off the visitor, so he finds a way to prove that he can provide pleasure without certain assets. -
