Summary
Carlos accepts an invitation to North Vale high on the hopes that it will bring a change to his life, and let him focus on his path to begin and further his career in the science world. On a recommendation from his former professor, whose face he can't describe and name he can't remember, and who says that the private school is known for close proximity to unexplained phenomenon, he makes the choice to attend the school with almost no information. But why is everyone there so strange? Why does he walk down the halls and glimpse hooded figures walking about? Why is the new student lounge forbidden? What are those lights outside the cafeteria, right behind where the Arby's is? Why does the weird NVH broadcast host insist that the lights aren't a mystery, and more importantly, why does he seem to be in love with him? (Rated M for later chapters.)
