But this birthday? He’s actually dreading it. And for the most unusual reason..
He's not scared of getting older or worried about where his life is headed. No, Ocho’s got plans. He’s got lists of things he wants to do. He has always been ambitious and driven. His friends used to joke about how he had a fire under his ass for no reason, but now that he’s in massage school, he finally feels like he’s found his purpose.

Ocho and Wireglasses had always known each other—brief greetings at turf wars, the occasional nod at mutual friend gatherings—but they were far from close. They weren’t the type to text each other for tea or chat about the latest movie. They were, in a word, acquaintances.
So, when they were paired up for the planning of the Great Eights’ Annual Summer Vacation, neither of them were thrilled.
