“I’ve shrunken!” Lances tiny voice yells out making everyone pause. “Your crazy alien technology made me small!!”

Pidge sat with her knees against her desk. The wooden grain, sharp cut edges and all, dug into the front of her shins uncomfortably. Her room was dark and quiet, save for the snoring she could hear from the room over.
Lance had never been particularly quiet in his sleep. Though, she had become used to it. He fell asleep at ten pm, much earlier than Pidge or Hunk, and left them to try and keep the noise down till he woke up at eight.

“Keith,” he called out again, louder now. “Keith, —”
Keith stirred weakly.
A broken sound left his throat, somewhere between a groan and a breath. His head rolled slightly toward Lance, eyes fluttering open for half a second before slipping shut again. He was being half-dragged, half-carried by the Galran guards as he slipped in and out of consciousness. The blood dripped down from the wound on his head, past his eye and down to his chin.
Lance decided that he would do whatever he had to do to keep them together. They cannot get separated. Keith needs him. He can’t lose Keith.
“That’s it,” Lance said, voice shaking. “That’s it, okay? You’re doing great. Just—just keep breathing.”
Keith and Lance end up stranded on a planet after a mission goes wrong.
But that's only where their troubles begin.
Captured and tortured relentlessly, Keith finds something out about himself that shocks him to his core.
Terrified and delirious, Lance doesn't take it too well.
Their relationship strains before it shifts and deepens as they work together to escape alive. -
