    If he stopped then it was back to that cell, back to the agonizing hours spent suffering.

    He urged his exhausted limbs forward
    Ignoring the pain, The only thought running through his mind was freedom. He surged towards the light at the end. Tears rolled down freckled cheeks as the alleyway walls seemed to bare down on him from every side. He charged forward. His feeble wings flapping behind him.
    The light was so close he could almost feel it.
    He leapt forward. Hope blossoming in his heart before-
    *BAM*
    Izuku had slammed into something, More specifically someone. He opened his eyes, squinting as he adjusted to the light. Two pairs of eyes stared wide eyed back at him.
    He took in his surrounds. He was seated in a mans lap.
    The mans red wings subconsciously flared behind him.

    “Just lay back and bite this, OK?” Shouta nods, looking at the kid in front of him. Now, through half-lidded eyes, he can distinctly make out his features. Biting the Recovery Girl rag, he observes. Freckles, green hair, matching green eyes. Although if you look closer, one of his eyes has an almost darker hue to it, as if he's wearing contacts in one eye.

    However, something else catches his attention. Not a part of the young boy's body, but an accessory. There, crushed between green curls, a golden, butterfly hair clip is mushed in-between.

    “Sorry, this is going to hurt. Bite the rag if it gets bad.” The butterfly boy apologizes, and although kind-toned, he doesn't sound like he means it. He reaches into his belt again, this time successfully grabbing a knife on his first try.

    Also Recovery Girl themed.

    For a second, Shouta thinks he's going to use it to cut the half-assed attempt Shouta himself gave to bandage his leg. Get a better look at the injury, right?

    Oh, how wrong he is.

    And before Shouta can blink, the kid stabs him.

(especially not for quirkless children, it's pretty easy to tell Izuku is quirkless if you look down at his shoes and know what you're looking at. And unfortunately there's some people in this world who are sick. Way too sick.)
    It usually doesn't take long for Izuku to notice he's at the school and come rushing out to meet up with Shouta. Never more than ten minutes.
    But it's been more than double that, and Shouta is worried.

    So on a random Friday night, when the whole class sat down for dinner in the 3-A dorms, a year and a half after their world almost ended and several of them almost lost their lives, Katsuki slowly let his heart shatter into his bowl of katsudon on the table in front of himself.
    Because it was at this exact moment, as the whole class complained about Katsuki’s ‘too spicy’ katsudon, that he saw the brightest smile on Izuku’s face and knew, without a single shred of doubt, that he was in love with the way the Nerd’s freckles crinkled around his cheeks when he laughed.

    Momo Yaoyorozu's family is always telling her to be perfect and putting a lot on her shoulders, that is when they're around.

    Tamaki Amajiki is a ball of social anxiety that had been adopted by one of the most sunshine heros.

    And Tenya's parents were neglectful & abusive so he was adopted by Tensei.

    So what happens when these broken kids all meet? Will they finally be able to heal from their years of hurt?
