Summary
I spent the last year and a half reading every Re:Zero reaction fic I could find, and now, here’s my own attempt at a worldwide reaction. The world watches Re:zero, arcs 1-9.
Credit to the writers who came before me, especially Feopyr and “The 4 Nations Witness the Strongest Existence". I used their viewing-description template, and Feopyr, if you feel this crosses a line, just tell me — I’ll remove it and write my own, (please don’t, it would take forever).
I wrote this out of spite because I wanted to prove I could. Whoever said writing is fun is a liar, but it does calm me down. After reading so many fics, I figured out what formats I liked and daydreamed scenarios nonstop until the ao3 curse forced me to finally make my own.Fun fact: if you check Feopyr’s comments, you’ll see me praising their work; two days later I got a fever for three days, and wrote 30,000 words at once.
So here it is — my attempt.I want advice. Real advice. Grammar, characterization, missed details, ideas for future arcs — everything. And if anyone wants to beta read, let me know in the comments.

Summary
Reala Thompson lived a happy life as the wife of Garek Thompson, mother of her two beautiful children in her home in Priestella, enjoying a satisfied domestic life.
One day, she meets a stranger who saved her son from an accident, quickly growing fond of the young man, that seemed to have a crush on her, but retreated when her husband came home. Grateful as she was, she dismissed her idle humouring of the idea of treating him to a sexual favour as a reward, as something that would never happen, as long as she had Garek.
The next day Garek dies in the siege of Priestella, leaving her a widow in a broken family.
With her family's benefactor returning to her side, supporting her through the tragedy... Will she be able to reclaim the happiness she lost on the side of this new man who is obviously devoted to her, in a way she could only interpret as romantic?
