The condescending tone caused Rio to freeze. Her fist clenched at her sides as she glared up at the slightly taller woman. She was fed up with people judging her, she already got enough of that shit from the other dancers and her mother. She definitely didn't need to hear it from this stranger.
"You have some fucking nerve. I have every right to be at my place of work."

‘It’s you, isn’t it?’ she asks.
Death nods, leaning closer, drawn in by the magnetic energy Agatha exudes, the very thing he’s been drawn to since the start.
‘You got yourself a body,’ she remarks, impressed.
Death flushes. The heat rising to his cheeks feels a little like standing in front of a burning fire.
‘Do you like it?’ Death asks, rocking on his heels.
Agatha narrows her eyes, giving him a once-over.
‘Hmm,’ she muses. Then she beckons him closer with a curled finger.
Death goes happily, his pulse picking up. His pulse!
Agatha makes a show of bringing her palm up to whisper in his ear.
‘Let me give you a clue,’ she breathes into Death’s ear, making his spine stiffen.
A pause.
‘I don’t like boys.’
Death stumbles backward, cheeks red again. His chest feels tight, and all at once, he wants to escape her.
Agatha smirks at him, already turning back to her book.
‘Nice try.’

Death body-hopping until they find one that Agatha likes. They do not anticipate how much Agatha will like Rio.

Summary
Agatha barely has time to register Rio's movement before Death is right in front of her, inches away. She grabs Agatha’s injured hand in her own before Agatha can resist the tug and licks it, sealing the wound shut. “Maybe you are right, but I only like it when you bleed for me.”
Agatha feels a blush rising up her neck to her cheeks, hot and undeniable.
Rio's lips curve into a slow, knowing smile that sends a shiver down Agatha's spine. In an urge to regain the upper hand in their ongoing dance, Agatha cups Rio’s cheek, preventing Rio from escaping the conversation prematurely. "If I knew a little blood would loosen your tongue, I would have offered it decades ago."
