Summary
"Did you really want to die?"
Adam stared at Lawrence, confusion widespread across his face at the question.
"The voice on your tape. It said, 'Many days you have wanted to die.' What does it mean?"
"Means whoever did this has obviously been watching me on many days."
Lawrence's expression softened further, and Adam found genuine concern in his eyes.- although he was unsure why. Lawrence had no reason to care for him, he was a no-good stalker at best; not that the doctor knew that, but still. Adam felt unworthy of the older man's concern, and if he had to fight him to get rid of it he would.
"Why did you want to die?"
There was hardly any hesitation in his answer- as if he'd explained this a thousand times over. Lawrence's concern deepened at the rehearsed response. "The same reason everyone else wants to die. Because it's preferable to living."

Summary
Lawrence read the words carved on his headstone over and over, his mind still in denial that Adam is dead. But this is his grave. It's set in stone. Adam's grave was bare except for the red carnations he placed weeks earlier. Its obvious nobody else had visited Adam since then. Only Lawrence.

Summary
"Lawrence." It called.
It dragged out the last syllable of his name. Lawrence recognized that voice. He should've known from the messy mop on the shadow's head. A relieved smile tightened into place.
"Is it really you?" Lawrence, eager to see him, reached over to the end table to turn on the light. He pinched the wheel of the lamp and slowly begun to rotate it.
"Don't turn on the light."

Summary
The sound of water dripping from the tap and falling into the drain of the bath tub gave a consistent sound , but the more he thought in the dark the more he realized that the drain held his freedom , but just like the water falling down the pipes , he knows his fate is final and unsalvageable ...how fucking fitting .
I mean sure, Adam knew he was an asshole , hell if he had to place a bet he'd say he's up there with Snooki and Spencer Pratt , but Lawrence Gordan is the biggest asshole of them all .
Here Adam was waiting for that dick of doctor to keep his word ...i mean he promised ,and yet it had to have been days ...no weeks? Or has the hunger and darkness finally got to him. I mean yeah Adam was shit at keeping track of time when he did have a watch , so being abandoned in a bathroom that smelled like a gang bang and murder had a baby? Yeah he was definitely fucked- Language:

Summary
Adam zoned out a lot. Eyes glossy and vacant with memories of what life was like before the incidents clouded them over. Memories that felt like looking at old physical pictures printed at a nearby Walgreens from those dingy disposable cameras. A specific kind of nostalgia that blurred between good and bad. A nostalgia that left Adam feeling weird.
Heavily based on the book/movie Mysterious Skin

Summary
"I promise," Lawrence Gordon had said to Adam Faulkner-Stanheight. That promise meant everything to the both of them. It was a promise that he would never hurt him. He'd never let go of him. Everything was going to be alright. That's what the doctor had reassured him before he left him there. That was the first warning sign of things going to shit. However, everything was okay now, right? Adam was gone from the bathroom because Lawrence had called an ambulance back for him.
But it wasn't.
Nothing was okay. Not when they had fights daily. Lawrence was always late and angry, and Adam was always oversensitive about it. This was an example.
