Regardless, he had made his choice clear—too clear—leaving no room for TimeStream or Thundercracker to sway him. And it certainly doesn’t help that Skywarp has been openly fanning the flames, simply because he finds Megatronus attractive. (Which he will deny with every ventilated cycle, but the trine bond doesn’t lie.) -

Thundercracker is too quiet to ask for his needs. Skywarp is too loud to notice he's already breaking. And Starscream? Too scared to believe he can be loved without the need for violence.
You don't have a spark but like sun bleached flies on the windowsill, they'll dream for the last time while breathing in the poison of the paint.

Another variation on the original, just as I enjoy playing around with differnt takes on stories...
A little thief attempted to steal Energon from the mines on Earth, he's caught and brought forth to Winglord Starscream, not once but twice, the first time was a deserved punishment for his theft, the second punishment- a humiliating predicament- was undeserved, as he had been trying to make things right by returning his stolen goods-but his good deeds were not believed. So he faced more hurt and in that, was tested to see if he was a suitable bondmate for Winglord Starscream.
When he was proven to be all the things Starscream required of his mate, he moved quickly to claim him completely-against his new mate's wishes-Would he come to regret his hastiness and the consequences of his self-serving, arrogant, and impatient actions towards his new mate? Would the relationship falter and fail? Or would the figure things out, work together, and thrive despite a bad beginning?
Time would tell.
