It was nothing objectionable, but these were things that were special to him, and in his time on his own in the galaxy, running from bounty hunters and evading capture for the arenas, he'd learned to keep anything that was important hidden away. If people knew something held value to you, they tried to take it from you.

He pushes his boxers down his hips so that he can grasp his rapidly hardening cock. The actors are starting to get going and Stone strokes along carefully. He knows the exact moment he wants to wait for. He sighs contentedly; the relief is incredible. He’s going to need this if he’s to get through another day like today.
Suddenly the door slams open and Robotnik walks in. No knock, not even the tiniest hint of hesitation.
Stone screams, pulling the covers up to his shoulders and locking his phone. He has no idea what to say. Robotnik has the decency to appear embarrassed. His cheeks have turned pink. But he does not have the decency to leave, apparently. They stare at each other for a beat. The silence stretches and Stone thinks he might die.
“Stone, were you-”
“Yes!”
They both stare at each other again. Stone has never interrupted the Doctor. Not once.
