At 19 years old, she is married and has children with Soldier Boy.
In 1984, she was 21 years old. Soldier Boy is dead. Gone. Her children are fatherless, and she is widowed.
In 2024, her dead husband comes back, demanding to pick up where things ended.

Set on the day of Homelander's birthday in S3E2 ("The Only Man in the Sky"), Annie goes to bed dreading what his onstage meltdown might mean for the future of The Seven, Vought, and even herself as the new co-captain. But instead of waking up to the inevitable media circus the next day, she finds herself waking up on the same day all over again. Then again, and again, and again. Soon enough Annie realizes that all her clever maneuvers and attempts to escape, or break this time-loop are inconsequential.
And then, her one bold and reckless decision ends up dragging another person into the awareness of this cycle: Homelander.

События развиваются после завершения 4-го сезона "Пацанов". В этой версии вселенной Хоумлендер выслеживает Бутчера на том моменте, когда кончается 4-й сезон. И, разумеется, с этого момента начинаются отклонения от канона, который (5-й сезон) нам ещё пока не показали.Предупреждение. Бутчер реально ненавидит Хоумлендера, а Хоумлендер реально хочет отомстить. И если планы супергероя со временем меняются, сказать то же самое о Билли сложно. Он ненавидит по-настоящему, а Хоумлендер подбрасывает ему новые поводы. Насилие здесь - это реальное насилие.

“Homelander,” Hughie began fretfully, watching as he began making his way over to the IV bag containing the bright blue substance. “You really, really don’t want me for this! I can’t - I can’t spy on Butcher for you. I - I won’t!”
With an exasperated sigh, Homelander turned away from the IV bag. “I knew you’d say that. So, I took out a little insurance policy.” He left the room suddenly and came back in, dragging someone by the collar of their shirt.
Hughie’s breath caught in his throat. “Dad?”
Or: Alternate take on S2, Ep3. Homelander abducts Hughie after the incident with the whale and injects him with Compound V to fulfill his plan of taking down Butcher once and for all. An unwilling accomplice, Hughie must follow Homelander’s instructions, lest his father suffer the consequences.
