Summary
The Polythieves fic I've always wanted to write... rewritten with some improvements to uh story structure among other things. Tags will be updated as the story goes just so I can collect my thoughts. If the character you expect to be in a P5 rewrite isn't there yet... it's probably because I haven't written them in yet.
The first arc is in the process of being rewritten so I'm aiming to release them all pretty quick but I wrote a lot of stuff! So we'll see!

Summary
It had all come together for Akira Kurusu and his Thieves. The Phantom Thieves had shattered the hopes of Yaldabaoth and with a final shot intended to move on, but the God of Control was always a sore loser. In his final moments, Yaldabaoth decided to try one more time to try and right his failures by adding a piece to his side and reset the timeline. During the reset, due to the damage Yaldabaoth sustained, some pieces got rearranged and the metaphorical chess board became a mess of pieces across the universe. Will the Thieves be able to confront these changes and perhaps use the warped reality to come out even better than before?

He'd only ever talked about Featherman with one other person. He'd liked it a lot, at least, Ren's 90% sure he did. Maybe his mind had just latched onto the idea. Maruki's reality had been full of moments and conversations he can never quite categorize as fact or fiction. It's always possible that every single conversation they'd had were naught but fantasy.
…Maybe Goro Akechi would be ecstatic for a new Featherman show. Maybe he wouldn't have cared. Ren would never really know.

Summary
There's something undeniably cozy about spending the evening huddled with all the people she's come to know through being a Phantom Thief. At first, the cold outside will have everyone with a cup of coffee, but eventually, with so many people, it becomes much too warm inside to want another. Every year, despite their numbers, or the volume of conversation, it never feels claustrophobic. Sometimes it's a little overwhelming, but more akin to holding your hand next to an open flame : a warmth that doesn't quite burn.
Today is just like every year. Makoto mingles, she enjoys the atmosphere and makes idle conversation. However, every now and then, despite her best efforts to enjoy the moment, she finds her eyes wandering back to Akechi.
