It was just a normal day for Billy Denbrough: and it was a normal day for everyone else. Billy doesn’t like change: but unfortunately, big change was coming his way.
He followed a strange man leading away his little brother, wandered around in the dark, and suddenly he’s standing over his brother’s lifeless body with a weapon in his hands.
Now that everyone thinks he murdered Georgie Denbrough, Billy has no choice but to go on the run, into the unknowns of the clockwork city of Derry. He must find the strange man and avenge his brother, but he can’t do it alone. Billy must now choose who to trust and with the help of his friends: they might just make it justified and alive.

Richie Tozier hasn't exactly had the classic teenage experience depicted in movies. He doesn't think many have defeated a demonic clown. Nor gaining large amounts of trauma from said experience. It didn't help his parents showed no care or interest in him, adding to that trauma. A tattoo of a number was also on his arm, which he didn't know the meaning of. He had no knowledge of where it was from, only vaguely remembering a doctor giving it to him when he was younger. It was only a few years ago that the abilities appeared, ones he didn't know how to control. The lack of understanding kept him in silence, refusing to admit he was a walking science experience. But, when he is suddenly forced to see his cousins in Hawkins, he finally has some understanding. Richie felt things could finally be normal, that's is until he started hearing about the death of multiple children and seeing some red balloons.

New Year's Eve 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994, 2002, and 2004. The Loser's Club had a tradition to party the hardest they absolutely could every New Year's Eve in high school. Richie's tradition of desperately building up the nerve to kiss Eddie when the clock struck twelve, only to fall flat, started years before. Even meeting as strangers at a bar, not knowing they'd been missing each other for eight years, Richie found himself clamming up the closer the clock got to midnight, as if every nerve in his body had been coded to desperately want Eddie in the last ten seconds of the year.
