Here Kage paused his brow furrowing in confusion. Silence reigned for too long.
"He, what? Kage?"
Kage looked up at him with wide green eyes, "I don't remember what he looks like."
"What do you mean you can't remember him? How can you have forgotten him so easily?"
One of the criminals gave a choked laugh before Kage could answer him. It was the youngest of the group. A brown-haired man with dull brown eyes and a scraggly beard forming. He was painfully thin and looked as if he could use a few good meals.
"No one can remember him after he walks away," laughed the man, "He's not human. Half the time people don't see him even when he's right there on top of them. They walk right around him. Seen 'im steal a hot dog right in front of the shop owner and they did nothing."
"Like a ghost," muttered another.

Summary
Izuku takes a shaky breath and ignores how Kacchan blows up in anger behind them. They have to pull themselves together. There’s nothing but a bleak, shadowed road that promises nothing but pain for them to take, and if they falter in any way, then their fate is sealed.
This..certainty takes hold of them with a dawning sense of horror that causes their fists to clench until they feel their nails break skin. Unseeing eyes stare at the blood dripping down their palms and onto the floor, and when Izuku finally looks at their red-stained hands, they understand.
All routes lead to death.
And Izuku will make sure that the only death will be their own or die trying.

Summary
Oni has been a vigilante for a few years, when he meets Kage for the first time, an anti hero (not that Oni knows this) who has a bloodlust similar to Stain, but all the more dangerous.
Kage bumps into Oni, and is immediately attached to him, a vigilante who can keep up with them in battle.
Unfortunately for Oni, Kage has no intention of letting him slip by, even if they have to use their position as an Officer in the day to their advantage.
If they have to manipulate those around them to get their vigilante, so be it.

Look I had an idea, the prompts I used from the Edm-s are “who do you think you are” and shadows.
I tried. This is my shortest short story ever.
I may expend this au in the future into an actual fic, but I might not.Mido is like 10 years older then he is in canon.
I really don’t know how to make summaries lol.(Disclaimer: this variation of the ship only has an age gap of about 5 years, thou if I expand on this in the future it would still become student/teach, even so, they are both adults, keep calm.)
