Summary
“Ra—ha-aa…!”
The Crystal Exarch sways where he stands, trapped by the scene unfolding in his scrying mirror. His hot-blooded apprentice is curled over The Warrior of Darkness in sweat-soaked supplication. A line of red hair and fur over twisting muscle. Gorging himself on her with wild abandon. The Exarch is so sick with want that his teeth itch.
While plucking souls from another shard, The Crystal Exarch makes a grave mistake in his earliest calculations. Now he is face-to-face with a much younger version of himself, from a world in which he had never sealed himself inside Syrcus Tower.During a diplomatic prisoner exchange in Doma, G’raha Tia is pulled across the rift into a horrifying future on another world. Now The Crystal Exarch's apprentice, he tries not to fall into the same traps as his mentor.
Why the Warrior of Light and Darkness feels so drawn to The Crystal Exarch, she cannot possibly know. Will their rivalry for her affection unmake the very star?
Or:
An attempt to make a messy Exarch/WOL/G'raha sandwich loosely make sense with just a bit of alternate timeline silliness. -

Summary
She is quiet—is the first thought Aymeric has about the Warrior of Light. Her impact on Eorzea could be heard around the world, but she is quiet.
What did he expect? For her to be brash and loud, stumbling her entire deck on the table face up? Lord Haurchefant had described her as a kind and generous soul, yet all Aymeric perceived was frigidity enough to rival Coerthan zephyrs.
But he had to admit—the way she held her body impressed him, in that manner that exudes confidence without declaring arrogance. And beneath the self-assured posture, the Warrior seemed a passive strategist, judging every move made and every word said. He was glad to see she was more calculating than most coin-for-hire mercenaries and added this information to the crafted persona kept in his head—once again building a board to figure out the complexities behind this hero.

Summary
"Time and again, I have faced the odds. I have gone where you told me to go, fought what you told me to fight so is it too much to ask for a simple moment before you all leave me again?" A hand pressed over her chest as if she can force the anguish down, bile rising in her throat as her words ring louder. "You tell me to rest as if I can find it in an empty innroom when you are supposed to - supposed to -" The weakness of begging. She hates it, squeezing her eyes shut and pressing her trembling hand down harder. No one says anything and she chokes on a sob, the cool night air of the Crystarium stinging on her flushed cheeks.
--
“You can’t sleep.” Alisaie states, eyes narrowing further. “And neither can we.”
The Warrior peeks over Alisaie’s shoulder, finding Alphinaud already sitting atop her bed. He waves a little upon seeing her, amusement clear in the curve of his smile.
--
The WoL needs a moment to rest after the events at the Seat of Sacrifice. And once more, following Ultima Thule. -

Summary
The strength he held was little, but as they drew closer and closer to the exit, he needed to ascertain her intentions and plan accordingly. Trusting her was a fool's errand, and he had already allowed himself to be dragged unquestioning for long enough.
"What..." He cleared his throat, took a deep breath. "What, by chance, is happening?"
"We're leaving." Azem's voice was quiet, tinged with resignation—some mixture of grief and determination, perhaps, but G'raha could not name why. It was the same non-answer he received before.
"For another round of interrogation from Emet-Selch?"
She was silent for a moment. "No."

[Or, G'raha, while injured, was most certainly capable of dragging himself out of here on his own. Instead, he was being forcibly removed from his inhospitable accommodations by the Ascian, Azem.]

He calls himself the Crystal Exarch. There’s something familiar about the curve of his mouth, the set of his shoulders, but you didn’t know either version of him well enough, then, to call him on the lie.

Summary
Why the title? Eh, because I'm hoping these entries will be the sort of thing readers can enjoy with a nice drink and something sweet. They will be posted in similar vein to xivwrite — random, prompt based snippets that written and posted without much editing — except these will be added as the mood strikes. No limitations, no deadlines.
Rating currently set to Mature, this may change in the future. The first chapter below will be my Table of Contents where I'll note the prompt, pairing, rating, and any relevant CWs. CWs will also be repeated at the start of the relevant chapter itself.
