Lance’s sophomore year in college starts pretty uneventfully, until one day his favourite artist posts a drawing of an OC that looks exactly like Lance. He’s slowly going crazy trying to figure out if it’s just a coincidence while his hotheaded asshole of a project partner makes sure Lance gets no rest in his free time.

Keith feigns anger, flipping over, but not before smacking a pillow between him and Lance. He hears the creak in the mattress when Lance sits up, and the cogs working in the boy’s head.
“What's this?” Lance asks, pointing to the pillow, and looking at the back of Keith’s head. He is in a lazy fetal position, with his black hair spayed across the grey pillow.

Lance knows this, it seems. He cares about Keith, cares about him enough to reach out to him. To let the already open book of his life turn a page, a page that is empty, ready to be filled with love notes and days full of laughter, of longing to be close, of shortening the distance between them.
