These are a series of ideas and alternative futures I thought about while writing "Queen Haelyx Peverell." There are only three so far, but there's another one that could be developing.

In the second, Haelyx was born with the Veela blood she had in her first life and is taken to Braavos, where she follows a path similar to Daenerys's.

Summary

Jaime's life had turned out differently than how he originally thought it would go. His dreams of being a gallant Knight were dashed at the reality of being a Kingsguard under King Aerys II and his cruel pleasures. The only ray of sunshine was watching young Rhaenys imagining flying with dragons as she played with her pet cat Balerion and silently joining in with her in his head. She always insisted the cat was a dragon and playfully pouted whenever someone tried telling her otherwise. The cat seemed fiercely loyal to her but only ever stayed with her when others weren't close enough to make out details.

Sansa’s eyes sparkled, her voice eager. “Will we meet the queen, Mother? Will Prince Joffrey notice me?”
Arya slouched, boots trailing mud, tone sharp. “Why does everyone care so much about princes? They probably never get muddy or climb trees.”

“I am the prince,” Joffrey declared, his voice sharp as he straightened in the carriage, lion pin gleaming. “When I get to Winterfell, I’ll make Robb Stark yield before the feast is done. Jaime and Cersei began swapping places at a young age, thanks to Cersei’s stubborn insistence. Jaime reluctantly took on Cersei’s “ladyship studies,” including sewing, which he thought was a waste of time.
However, to his surprise, he found sewing strangely enjoyable, with it requiring the same focus and precision as swordplay. As he got older, he found himself using his sewing skills here and there, and somehow, it was sewing of all things that became the key to Jaime feeling like he truly belonged.
Who knew a needle and thread would be the thing to make him feel like more than just a Kingsguard pawn?
