“It’s not what it looks like, I swear,” Keith continues, steamrolling over Lance’s question. “Drink up. You had, like, a lot of alcohol last night.”
Lance chugs the water like it’s the first he’s had in years. Keith paces back and forth across the length of the bedroom, a steady sound that keeps Lance from lying back down as he rubs his eyes. The empty glass almost makes it to the bedside table, but Keith grabs it from Lance’s hand and paces straight out of the room.
Only when Keith re-enters, flushed pink with worry down to his chest, does Lance realize they’re both shirtless.
Oh. My. God.
Keith, all lean muscle and mussed up hair, is shirtless. And Lance spent the night in his bed.
He awkwardly clears his throat. No need to get excited.

They looked up, eyes wide and startled. Lance felt his heart stop. Those eyes… They were beautiful. They looked dark gray at first glance, but when the bright, flashing lights hit them just right, they turned purple. They became a dark violet, with streaks of gray in them. Thick, black lashes framed them. They were stunning. Mesmerizing. Mysterious. Fucking beautiful.
The person’s eyebrows furrowed. “Uh… hey? Can I help you?” Yep, definitely a boy. His voice was low and gravely, edged with wariness. It sounded vaguely familiar… Lance wondered how he could make that voice sound soft.
For once, Lance couldn’t find his voice. “I-I, um—” Man, what was wrong with him? “I uhhhh… fuck.”

Keith has run into a very annoying, very attractive and tall, flirtatious problem that goes by the name of Lance McClain. They met that fated day, when Lance wandered into the woods (that no one but Keith and now him would ever dare to go into) and found his lil' log cabin. Chaos ensues but Keith just can't bring himself to kick his ass off of his property. What he sees, besides Lance falling flat on his ass and knocking all his shit over into the mud, is like nothing he's ever seen before. A bright blue, intense aura. Powerful. A blue that was almost as vibrant and beautiful as the blue oceans inside his eyes. The 23 year old hermit witch just cannot seem to figure out why... Why would this bumbling idiot have such power?
It wasn't like he knew how to use it, and he certainly had not been corrupted by Quintessence...so what was it with this guy?
