    Summary

    “You. Are. Children.”

And because Percy never had respect for most adults, a stable relationship with any outside his mom, or an actual childhood, he replied with, “we are farmers bum-ba-dum, bum-bum-bum-bum.”

The look on Wolverine's face was more telling than it had any right to be.

Or: Percy and Annabeth get introduced to the X-men side of Marvel with someone they know for a fact should be dead. They would do something about him defying death but honestly: they just want to stop fighting. Oh and what is this about adults being concerned at the three children with weapons that carry themselves as soldiers? The seven and a fer more are not happy. Considering the difference in universes this changes… some things.

    Summary

“Helion’s jaw clenched. “The Lady of the Autumn Court was sent to stay with her sisters, her younger children packed off to other relatives. To spread out the bloodline.” He dragged a hand through his sable hair. “Hybern attacked their estate. Her sisters bought her time to run. Not because she was married to Beron, but because they loved each other. Fiercely. She tried to stay, but they convinced her to go. So she did—she ran and ran, but Hybern’s beasts were still faster. Stronger. They cornered her at a ravine, where she became trapped atop a ledge, the beasts snapping at her feet.”
He didn’t speak for a long moment.
Too many details. He knew so many details.
I said quietly, “You saved her. You found her, didn’t you?”
A coronet of light seemed to flicker over that thick black hair. “I did.”
There was enough weight, anger, and something else in those two words that I studied the High Lord of Day.

Based on Helion's conversation with the IC in ACOWAR, what happened between Helion and Lady of the Autumn court (because ms sarah janet maas takes two years to finish a book and I cannot wait for her big reveal so I'm doing it for her)

    Summary

“Long night?” she quipped, bitterness lacing her tone as she sharpened a particularly formidable arrow tip.

“What are you asking me, Viviane?”

Rare of him to use her name.

Kal leveled her a stare, which always had a way of undoing her. Those piercing blue eyes, sharper than honed sapphires, saw it all. The invisible essence beneath her skin.

Viviane was never any good at backing down from that stare. Or a fight.
“I’m asking you if it's exhausting having half the females in Prythian line up outside of your door each night.”

“Careful, little wren,” Kal murmured with a cool grin, “I might start getting the wrong idea.”

A long pause as her honest eyes sought his. “Maybe you should.”

Kal’s scent spiked subtly as he registered her meaning, though his face remained unreadable. “Those are very brave words, Viviane.”

    She stood.

“There is an inscription carved into the summit of the Northern Rift, do you know what it says?” She peered over the lake in search of game.

Kal shook his head, ivory strands falling across his dark brow.

Viviane carefully drew an arrow from over her shoulder.

“Cowards die a thousand deaths, but the valiant only die once.”
